Metal
Foundry
“Gold is a mirror, not a color.”
Foundry draws metal: crumpled foil with sharp bright creases, brushed metal with one long highlight, and smooth liquid metal in slow ripples. Gold, rose gold, silver, copper and gunmetal, plus tinted metallics.
Metal reads as metal because of its range, from deep shadow to a near-white highlight. A flat yellow is mustard; ours never is.
